Quick Summary: I have availed their interior services for your first owned flat which they ruined the services they provided and also damaged our home.

In one sentence, Meeting Space Theory Cofounders and their team for the first time was a happy moment which they turned into worst experience by delaying our project by additional 3 months, initial commitments turned into false commitments during design and execution phase, use of duplicate products, and more.

Quick Story

Around January 2023, I have got possession of my new 3BHK flat/apartment in Gota area and was actively looking for an interior designer who can create designs and execute the interior work.

While doing my research and connecting with a lot of different interior designers, I have shortlisted SpaceTheory in top 3 based on their commitments, soft speaking, and initial understanding. However, I didn’t knew at that time that proceeding with Space Theory for the interior of my first new home would turn out to be a dreadful experience.

I have even looked through their online profile and Google reviews and got impressed with the young team that works so efficiently. Later on, this belief turned out to be a myth.

There are certain issues which we faced during the tenure of work including design and execution phase:

• False Google Reviews that have 5 stars. Most of those reviews are from their friends and family
• Using duplicate electrical wires and claiming it to be original
• False commitments before sale and during execution change the brands and items by saying not available even though brand stores have the item availability
• Their working designs doesn’t have enough information for the person who work like carpenter, painter, etc
• They want all the money upfront even though they mention in BOQ to provide 5% payment after completion of work. They won’t deliver the sofa, dining table, chandelier, breakfast table, curtains, and much more. So, practically, they will hold 7x worth of items for the 5% payment which is ideally to be paid on completion of the project when each and every item in the interior is ready at your house.
• Double the timeline to deliver incomplete interior work where I had to spend lakhs after paying them the BOQ amount to atleast make my first home livable for us.
• If you done give them last 5% payment considering that the interior work is still incomplete then they will leave your project and also do the damages to your property like intentional leakages in bathroom by screwing into pipes and deep scratching the kitchen platform or window mirrors or the mirrors they installed
• There are lot more of such issues which I will add at a later stage as I have some legal action going on against them. I will include proofs as well once I have the legal action against them wrapped up.

I would highly recommend that you should avoid proceeding with Space Theory located at Nehrunagar, Ahmedabad. They are very soft spoken before sale so they have that ability to trick you so beware of that.
